Greater Bridgeport Disability Advocates (GBDA) is a non-profit collaborative of volunteers who work to inform, educate and advocate for the disabled community. Our membership is composed of individuals and organizations from all of the towns in the north and central areas of Fairfield County, including Bridgeport, Stratford, Trumbull, Monroe, Easton, Fairfield, Norwalk, Westport, Stamford, Greenwich and other surrounding towns.

GBDA is a cross-disability group who work together to bring awareness to issues pertaining to a variety of disabilities. Our monthly meetings cover issues such as return to work, accessible transportation, handicap parking, benefits, communicative issues, and emergency readiness procedures for people with disabilities. Upcoming meetings are listed in the panel to the left, where additional information regarding time, place, guest speaker and more can be found.
